Lettuce - lactuca - is a leaf vegetable cultivated in different breeds and varieties. In general, lettuce can be divided into the red and green variants. Each type has its own flavour. It is very easy to grow lettuce, because this vegetable can be grown in various types of soil. Lettuce can thus be cultivated in greenhouses or via open field production.
